WORSHIP WITH US

At the time of Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden, we were all separated from God. We all became sinners.
Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, God makes it possible for us to come back to the right relationship with him. When we repent and confess belief in Jesus and what he did for us, the Holy Spirit comes and works in us to make us new. this is called regeneration which leads us to a turn from sin to Godliness. from disobedience to obedience.
 
Baptism is an outward sign of the change that the Holy Spirit brings in us. The form of baptism symbolizes the death and burial of our sin and resurrection to the new life that I was just talking about. It is also a way of recognizing the covenant that we make with God when we accept Jesus Christ as Savior.
Baptism is an ordinance of the Baptist Church. That means we believe it was commanded by Jesus.
We immerse because Jesus was immersed at his baptism and because we believe the Greek word to which our word baptism corresponds also means immerse.
